DISTRIBUTION: ROUTING INSTRUCTIONS

Inbound/Outbound Routing Instructions (Revised 1/1/2008)
These instructions supersede all previous shipping instructions and must be retained for quick reference. Failure to comply with these instructions will result in freight charges being charged back to your account. Your account may also be debited a $50.00 penalty for noncompliance.

General 

• These instructions apply only to those shipments that are F.O.B. Shipping Point. F.O.B. Destination shipments are to be routed via carrier of your choice.
• Invoices with freight charges will be paid short by the amount of the freight charge. Superior Uniform Group will not accept any prepay/add shipments.
• Consolidate all shipments to be forwarded via the same mode of transportation on any single day to any single consignment address.
• Do not purchase insurance or declare value on any shipment.
• Superior Uniform Group’s purchase order number must appear on all Packing Lists, Bills of Lading. For UPS shipments, PO number must be the 1reference. Freight invoices not containing this information will be debited back to the vendor.
• Shipments originating outside the U.S. must include a commercial invoice for customs clearance.
   

Routing Instructions

• For all ground shipments weighing 400 pounds or less, our preferred method of shipping is via UPS Ground 3rd party billing to account number 369086.
• For all shipments weighing at least 401 pounds and less than 10,000 pounds, please refer to the LTL carrier matrix.
• For any ground shipment weighing greater than 10,000 pounds, please contact CTS at (770) 690-8684.
• For air shipments weighing 200 pounds or less, use UPS Next Day Air. Please bill 3rd Party charges to account number 369086. Buyer should provide ESA number for you to add in the reference section of the air bill.
• For any air shipment weighing greater than 200 pounds, please contact Buyer for specific routing instructions and ESA number.
